About Jacqueline

I'd describe my personality as patient, joyful, and positive. I like tutoring because I can make a difference in someone's life. In the 10 years I have been instructing, my favorite part is seeing students gain confidence in themselves and their abilities. I have been tutoring / instructing since high school. I have taught swimming lessons and music lessons. I have tutored subjects such as Spanish, writing, and prepared others to take their US citizenship exams. In my spare time, I like to stimulate my brain with a multitude of hobbies. Examples are reading, writing, being outdoors, crafting, cooking, growing things, and being with loved ones. One thing you should know about me is I care deeply for my students and want to see them succeed. I am a very goal-oriented tutor and like to take things one step at a time to achieve this. My skills include patience, the ability to ask good prompting questions, and connecting with the student before we learn.
