For more than 11 years, I have been helping students in Kindergarten to high school improve their phonics, reading and writing skills. I enjoy every opportunity to help a student grow in confidence and appreciate learning just a little more :) I'm committed to flexible, affordable sessions, to help students catch up and keep up with their school work. Jackie was our second grader's learning coach for the school year 2020-2021. We had our second grader enrolled in K12 online school and while the material was provided by the school, the delivery and ensuring mastery of the skills was the learning coach's responsibility. Our student's reading skills improved dramatically and the pace she picked up concepts also quickly went up. She looked forward to seeing Jackie everyday since Jackie made learning fun. Jackie is focused, patient and kind. She made sure the student grasped the concept before leaving for the day, even if it meant spending a few more minutes over the allotted time. We couldn't have navigated online school last year without her and I am sad we moved a little further away and could no longer engage her services. 11/10 would hire again.
