Hello! I am Graduate Student for Elementary Education at Virginia Tech, working to become a certified elementary school teacher. I am going to start my graduate program the beginning of July, 9-10 a.m. mon-wed and 9-2 p.m. thurs/fri. I graduated from Virginia Tech in May of 2022 with a major in Human Development and minor in Disabilities Studies and Leadership. Since May of 2016, I have worked in Virginia Beach as a lifeguard and swim instructor where I have been trained on accommodations and working with those with disabilities. I have babysat for children ages 6-12 in the past. I am CPR and first aid certified through the American Red Cross and American Heart Association. I am also a certified EMT and volunteer for the city of Virginia Beach, and lastly, I am also COVID vaccinated! I will be home for the summer and am available to start working May 31.
