About Iyanna

I was born and raised in the Bronx, New York. I had my first short-term babysitting job in 2019 for a 4-year-old boy. This included developing behavioral plans, regulating nap schedules, and creating fun early childhood activities. In June of the same year, I got a more long term job for a family that lasted until 2021. I helped their 3 and 5-year-old daughters prepare for bedtime accordingly, assisted with basic cleaning skills, and engaged them in many creative outdoor activities regardless of weather. My most recent job was my first full time position, and I cared for a 10-year-old boy. Manners, respect, and responsibility was incredibly important to the family so I incorporated those values into our day to day activities. I was also available for the family outside of work hours in case of an emergency. Building healthy relationships with my employers/children I nanny is very important to me, and it makes pursuing a career in childcare all the more worthwhile!
