About Ivy

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to consider me. Here are a few things about myself and how I got into the childcare business. The question of what our purpose in life is, is something we have all asked ourselves. I was fortunate enough to realize since an early age my passion and purpose to nurture and to teach children. I've been around children and in the education/child care field since I was old enough to help out at my church's Sunday school. I was offered a full academic scholarship to college, but unfortunately had to drop out my second year to financially assist back home. That is when I started Ivy's Academy. I have been blessed to find wonderful families to welcome me into their homes and into their childrens' lives. Whether that was as their nanny, tutor, or homeschool teacher, I can confidently say that I continue to have strong relationships with all of my previous families and will be happy to share strong recommendations upon request :)
