I just graduated with my MFA from Tyler School of Art in ceramics. Prior to coming to Philly, I taught glassblowing in Washington State at WWU for 5 years. In undergrad I took classes in education, focusing in special education. I have experience instructing all ages, with 13 years of experience teaching preschool-college, at public schools, alternative schools, and a Montessori. I have been a nanny full time for three different families, and led a low-income and special needs focused preschool program for a year. Outside of education, I've worked in well known art galleries, museums, and in art production/fabrication. My artwork has been awarded nationally the past three years. I'm staying in Philly and miss working with kids and families! I'd love to spend the summer doing arts and crafts with children!

Ivy was an amazing care giver for our 3 kids back when they were younger. In fact I think she motivated them to be great caregivers when they were old enough. The best part of her, aside from making sure they were safe was her creative side, always coming up with new innovative hands on activities. My kids are all thriving adults, just like Ivy, and I still have their fun arts and crafts hung on display around my house! I’ve seen Ivy grow into an incredible, independent woman and am confident that she will help grow others into the same, if not better!
