I have worked at a program for individuals with developmental disabilities in Cincinnati, Ohio for four years now. It is called Stepping Stones. We worked to create pathways to independence for individuals through socialization, motor and fine-motor activities, and more. I personally did a lot of work with younger boys who are non verbal and have autism and other diagnoses. I am trained in behavioral safety and I know sign language. I have formed some amazing friendships with the children I work with and want to see them get more opportunities to show their true potential.
