About Hyunjoo
I've worked for the UCLA Bruincorps program which works with middle school classrooms and after school institutions where I was awarded the UCLA Bruincorps member of the year award. I'm grateful to say that so far, paying attention to my students' needs individually have been worth it and that all my students have gone from low to failing grades to a B or an A at the least. I love being a patient, open-minded tutor that listens to the needs of the students and doing what I can do to help them make it to their grade or next level. As someone who founded my own tutoring club at a high school for where I led the organization for three years, I have a passion to help others learn. I also have experience with younger children from ages 1 to 5 where I create curriculums and activities to stimulate learning and foster creativity. I talked to her and she was really nice, polite and well spoken. And we really liked her. We were in close contact and we even had agreed for a start date to nanny for our 7 month old. I didn't hear back from her so the day before our start date, I decided to message her. And I never received a text back. I messaged her again the day she was supposed to come in and she ghosted me. We tried to accommodate to her busy student schedule. And it is disappointing when someone is unreliable and not respectful of your time. It would have been preferred if she was honest and straight forward, as child care as a full time working mom is difficult to find these days. Unfortunately, she is unreliable and her actions were not professional.
