About Hope

I have been a nanny in Astoria for 6 years after leaving the office grind. My neighbors asked if I'd be interested in being a nanny for their first child, which I did, and fell in love with their little girl. I started when she was 3 months old and took care of her until they moved to North Carolina when she was 2 years old. They then recommended me to their friends who were expecting their first baby and I was with them for 2 years falling in love with their little girl as well. When they left Astoria, I nannied for another baby girl until the start of the pandemic. I've also been and art instructor at an after school program and summer camp. With me, a child sort of gets an extra grandparent who is very energetic, loves arts and crafts, story time at the library and being outdoors. I'm a very warm, comforting and giving person who loves children. I love to read and sing to them. Their comfort, safety and happiness is my biggest concern.
