I hold a bachelor's degree in psychology and a baccalaureate of science in nursing, both earned from Stony Brook University. My nursing journey began as a Bone Marrow Transplant Nurse at Weill Cornell Medical Center in Manhattan, where I had the privilege of providing critical care to patients undergoing lifesaving procedures. The experience allowed me to develop exceptional skills in managing complex medical conditions and coordinating multi-disciplinary care. For the past nine years, I have proudly served at MSKCC's Ambulatory Surgical Center, where I continue to deliver high-quality care to a wide range of patients. This dynamic environment has provided me with the opportunity to further expand my nursing knowledge, cultivate strong communication skills, and develop expertise in handling surgical procedures. As a nurse, I strongly believe in the power of empathy and patient-centered care.
