About Helane

Hello, My name is Helane. I have been providing childcare for over 20 years. I love interacting with children. I am a NJ certified teacher with a specialization in Special Education. Additionally, I have obtained my Executive Masters from Seton Hall University in Educational leadership. While studying at Rutgers I provided childcare in the home, ABA home therapy and social skills training outside of the home to children on the Autism spectrum. During the past 10 years I have formally taught kindergarten and students in grades 4-12 and have provided care for a wide variety of children. In emergency situations I remain calm, assess the situation and always inform the parent even for a minor incident. I have worked with children in hospital settings and have been trained in CPR and First Aid. I have a clean background check and driving record.
