About Heidi

About me? I love to make people laugh. Tutoring gives me a chance to have one-on- one time with students and parents that I never had in the classroom! I'm looking for a job that brings me into contact with people who want the best for their families. I started tutoring when I was in high school. I began again after I retired from teaching. In my spare time I like to paint!!! I would love to share my passion with anyone who would like to learn. One thing you should know about me is I try to be funny, but it doesn't always translate well! I will Always have your best interests at heart and I am very loyal and honest with my clients. My skills: Language Arts (all about reading and writing). Math. Study Skills. Exploring the student's interests and using these to plan lessons. I love integrating the natural world and science.
