When I had just graduated high school I started a job taking care of an elderly women that had what doctors call dementia, which means she was always very confused, and she did not want to do anything if it was not her idea. The things on a daily basis that I would have to do for her was bathe her, comb her hair, get her dressed, give her the medication she needed, feed her, and also entertain her and get her doing a little exercise each day. I also growing up had an uncle that had cerebral palsy, and there were many times when I was a teen that I would babysit him and make sure that he took his medication and also just entertained him while my grandparents were away.
