About Heidi

I'd describe my personality as calm, caring and happy. I like working with kids because I have always loved infants. I had my own infant daycare at one time and we fostered infants. My favorite age group is infants and I am very good with them. I have raised 2 special needs children. I'm looking for a job that would allow me to nurture and care for a baby. I would like to be able to help parents who are stuck in the childcare availability crisis or whose baby may not be a candidate for a large daycare facility. I started working with kids when I started babysitting and have been involved with some sort of childcare ever since. In my spare time, I like to tend to my plants, walk my dogs and walk in the woods. One thing you should know about me is I am honest and not afraid to take responsibility. My skills include being able to calmly deal with an upset baby, willingness to work with parents on any problem that may occur, and my flexibility.
