Hello! I am a special needs nanny and sitter. In my 10 years of experience in child care, four have been with children with special needs. I have experience with children with autism, ADHD, emotional disturbance, and intensive medical needs. But I'll admit, my favorites are the "problem children". Working with children with behavioral and emotional challenges is my passion, and I have the experience and skills to help these kids thrive. I believe in consistent rules and rewarding positive behavior. Nothing is more gratifying than seeing a kid learn to manage their emotions and develop new coping skills. In the summer, I work for the YMCA as a camp medical officer using my Ohio EMT certification. So you can trust your children will be good hands in the case of an emergency!
