As a devoted Special Education Paraprofessional who has extensive experiences working with children from T-K to high school and adolescents, I know I have an inherent love to connect with students, with and without disabilities. I work with a broad spectrum of special needs students... Autism, Down Syndrome, ADHD, Braille, nonverbal, mild to severe disabilities etc. I know it takes utmost patience, love, compassion, empathy and dedication to help, support and achieve academic goals and sometimes basic life skills to meet each child's needs and challenges. I believe that all children can learn and thrive to their fullest potential in a warm, nurturing and positive environment that is stimulating, comforting, and appropriate to children's abilities and challenges. I have been a caretaker to my special needs brother over 10yrs. (diagnosed as Paranoid Schizophrenic & partially deaf). I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree, CPR & First Aid Certified, Live Scan and Drug & TB Test Clearance.
