About Hallie

Hi, my name is Hallie I am originally from Salt Lake City, Utah. I have 5 younger siblings and have helped take care of them for as long as I can remember. I am currently attending Iowa State University seeking my master's degree, and hope to become a middle school science teacher one day. I can't remember a time in my life where haven't been taking care of children. My past experience in child care includes; volunteering with special needs children, at church, camp counseling, youth leader, various babysitting jobs, and I've been a nanny of 4 different families in the past. In total, I have more than 6 years of experience. I've had the incredible opportunity of working with a wide range of kids while donating 3 summers to camp counseling. I worked with a mix of kids ages 5-19 and with Angel Tree Children who have at least one parent in prison. I do incredibly well with behavior management and have gained leadership skills, delegation, patience, improvision, and more.
