I worked as a CNA in Sebree Kentucky. I love caring for people I feel that it gives my life a purpose. I earned my CNA through Madisonville Community College where I plan to return to finish my nursing career. I strongly believe in treating others how I would want others to treat my own family. I knew nursing was the career I was born to pursue from a very early age of about 8 or 9 when I helped my grandmother change her colostomy and urostomy bags while the home health nurses were away. I would ride with her on the grits bus and transferred her on many occasions from bed to wheelchair and wheelchair back to bed. She required a lot of assistance because of a disease that had her paralyzed from the waist down.
