My love of working with students is not just my job but is my passion in life! I consider myself fortunate to wake up every day to go to a career that I love. I have experience instructing and tutoring in reading kindergarten through 8th grade. I am currently a special education teacher/case manager at a K-8 school and I'm just about to wrap up year 7. I am trained in the Orton-Gillingham Multi-sensory Reading Program, LiPS, and have experience in the Fountas and Pinnell Leveled Literacy Intervention system. I also have my Level 1 Wilson Reading System certification. One on one tutoring is a great way to help your child catch up or get ahead! (Though my area of expertise is reading, I do have experience in other subject areas as well--math, science, and social studies. I am familiar with and have taught using the Everyday Mathematics and enVisions Math programs.) I am also a mother to an amazing 3-year-old.

Haley is an amazing tutor! She has a wonderful, easy going personality and makes learning fun. she explains things in ways that are very easy to understand and is always looking for the best techniques for your child's needs. People learn differently so she puts a lot of thought and effort into coming up with plans for a specific individuals learning needs. In just a few lessons she already raised my son's confidence level. I will definitely be hiring her for any future needs as well.
