About Grace

Hello! My name is Grace and I graduated from San Francisco State in May of 2020. I received a Liberal Studies degree in Education as well as a minor in Special Education. While I was completing my education in San Francisco I worked as an assistant in a special day class at Lawton Alternative School that was designed for first, second, and third graders with special needs. My second job was volunteering as an assistant in an art classroom at Pomeroy, a recreation center for teens and young adults with disabilities. My goal as an educator is to integrate creativity, inclusivity, and fun into each and every teaching opportunity. I believe that focusing on a student's gifts is imperative in enabling learning confidence that will stay with them for the rest of their lives.
