About Grace

I have worked in many different capacities when caring for children. With a bachelor's degree in dietetics (medical nutrition) and a master's in elementary education, I have the knowledge and skills to help care for children's physical and educational needs. I have worked as a swimming instructor, dance instructor, and music instructor for private companies around the San Diego and St. Louis areas. I worked for a nannying service for several years and cared for a wide range of ages from 6 months to 13 years. Through this service, I was placed with a family in the San Diego area for over 4 years. In addition, I work for the San Diego Unified School District as an arts educator. When the pandemic hit, I transitioned to teaching virtually and in "pods", or small groups of children. I love spending time with children and helping them progress socially, emotionally, and educationally. I strive to be a positive influence in the lives of children, no matter the position.
