About Grace

Hello!! I am a recent University graduate with an African American Studies major on the pre-nursing track with a minor in Theatre. I've been drawn to healthcare since a young age, largely due to my superb relationship with my doctor. I'm particularly driven to become an OB for black women, as I am passionate about combating the disproportionately high mortality rates that this community currently faces. I couldn't be more thrilled to serve as a caregiver, which I see as an integral yet often overlooked pillar of the healthcare industry. My experiences include conducting research at Wake Forest School of Medicine on Alzheimer's and age disease research to equip caregivers with vital information for their roles. Friends often label me as the 'mom' of the group, owing to my compassionate, patient, and loyal nature. Ultimately, I'm excited to learn from and form lasting relationships with elders, and hoping to make a positive impact in their lives.
