I love being a caregiver because I enjoy making a difference in someone's life. I think a person should be able to stay in their home as long as they can, where things are familiar which makes them feel safe. I started caregiving in 2012. My skills including working with Alzheimer's. COPD, wound care, medication, bathing and dressing, transporting to wheelchair, exercising, companionship and all personal needs. My last job I was a live in caregiver. I took care of all her needs 24-7. She had Alzheimer's. I did everything for her which included running her household. Before that I helped her with her husband which also had Alzheimer's. Together I worked 10 years with that family
