About Glenis

I have been teaching 10 years. I am Texas Certified EC-6, ESL, Special Ed, and 4-8 Reading, Language Arts & Social Studies. I am currently teaching 7th grade ELA. In recent years I have worked with Autistic and Dyslexic elementary and middle school students. My students last year scored 87% success in passing both the Math and Reading STAAR tests and always show improvement on their Benchmark MAP (Measure of Academic Progress) which shows student growth and performance in the fall, winter, and spring. I have many engaging resources for both reading and math. If your student has a learning disability, is behind from missing direct instruction during COVID shut down, or just needs support, I work to engage and challenge them at their level and bring.
