I have a cousin who has a rare central nervous system disorder called Pelizaeus Merzbacher. Him and his mom (my aunt) lived with me and my family from when I was 8 until I was 18. I would care for him when my parents and his mom had to work or wanted a night out. I also work at an academy where some of the students enrolled have special needs. I am very passionate about working with students with special needs because they do not take anything for granted and they really appreciate you.
