About Gabriel

Hello, I'm Gabriel, or Gabe. I've worked one on one with special needs children and adults, primarily those with high support needs since I was 18-almost three years now. I do really well with teaching students that might have some learning challenges, and adapt my style to their strengths. This includes students with low, moderate, or high support needs autism, traumatic brain injuries, or other learning disabilities. I myself have fairly severe ADHD and struggled through middle school and high school, but now in college I have very strong grades. I'd be happy to share what I've learned and coach students with difficulty paying attention as well. I'd describe my personality as calm, understanding, and fun. In my spare time, I love to work on my car and learn about other cars. I also play lots of sports and video games. I spend a lot of time with my family and pets as well. When tutoring, the student and I are simply peers, working together to solve a problem.
