Hello! My name is Francheska. I just became new mommy and I love every bit of it. All of my life I have always loved babies and children. I have always been the babysitter for all of my family and neighbors growing up. In college, I had taken child development courses as well as CPR and professional child care trainings. I have worked at the Stony Brook Child Care Center as well as private nurseries in New York City. I have been a babysitter for many families over the last 10 years. I am energetic, fun, and reliable. I love and nurture kids as if they were my own. I also take the time to communicate with each parent and try to build a relationship with them to provide reassurance and comfortability. Francheska cared for our young son 4 days a week beginning when he was just 8 weeks old up until he was 8 months old. I am a first time mom and was nervous about leaving a baby so young with a non-family member but Francheska instantly made me feel comfortable. She was incredibly flexible with scheduling and always reliable. I always knew that if she committed I could count on her. Over the course of her 6 months with us, she never missed a day of work. Even more importantly, she loved my son and took excellent care of him. She helped get him on a good schedule, taught him how to hold his own bottle and feed himself, worked with him on sitting up, and just generally enriched his daily environment by reading books to him and playing with him. He LOVES her and his face would light up every time she came over. I would definitely recommend Francheska to anyone looking for a dependable, hard-working, kind sitter. We were so sad when we had to say goodbye to her due to moving away.
