I appreciated her very prompt and professional response to my need. I was very specific regarding my childcare needs, which included limited hours in the late afternoon/early evening. I fully understood that this job is not ideal because of the limited hours so made sure to explicitly state what I was looking for. I was also clear that I needed someone soon - also I understand this is not ideal, which is why I was careful to spell it out. She seemed great! I was very excited to meet with her. She scheduled a time to talk with me over the phone. At the scheduled time, she did not call. I waited about 10 minutes, logged back into care.com, and found she had left me a message (literally 2 minutes after the time we were supposed to meet) that she is not interested as she is looking for a full-time job. She seemed really great but as a professional mother of two I very much value reliability, candor, and honesty. This was a disappointing experience for me but I wish her the best.
