Throughout my whole life I have been around individuals who have needed some sort of special attention. I have an older brother who has been labeled many different things starting at the age of 4. Growing up with him I have always been one of his main providers. He is MR, Bipolar, and also on the autistic spectrum. I also have a 9-year-old godson who is severely autistic and requires much behaviorist and speech therapy. Throughout my teen years I have volunteered for the Special Olympics program, and aided at a summer school program where my grandmother was the head teacher for the special needs classroom. Helping these individuals with their daily routines has been something I have loved from the day I started. It takes a certain understanding and heart for the job in which I have.
