I am the third child of six. I have a 16-year-old sister, a 10 year year old sister and a 6-year-old brother- whom I have babysat. I come from a huge family where babysitting is a nonnegotiable. With having a huge family knowing how to deal with kids with different temperaments is a must so not much gets under my skin. Over time you learn to have lots and lots of patience and are able to keep up with them. Also, being able to love a child is very easy for me. I've been babysitting since I was 13 and I am now 20 years old. I have babysat kids from 5 months all the way up so 13-year-olds. I have been a paid babysitter for 3 years now and currently work with a nanny agency in the surrounding area while I go to school for my bachelors, in Human Development and Family Studies.
