About Farah

Hi! My name is Farah and I am a sophomore at Depaul who is eagerly looking for a family to support in a babysitting/house care role. Growing up as the oldest of four kids, I enjoyed having the opportunity to be a positive role model for my younger siblings. This prompted me to take babysitting jobs in my hometown and spend my last two summers of highschool working with 5 to 7-year-olds at art camp and as childcare support at my hometown church. My favorite age range to work with is elementary school but I also love getting to know kids as old as 14 years old. I try to be as engaging as possible and prompt kids to use their creativity by planning arts and crafts activities, or if they aren't into art, playing any type of game. I've had my license for about four years now and would be open, at the parents' comfort, to go on outings to the park, to go get ice cream, or even the beach.
