I helped a friend with her mother that had cancer and Alzheimer. Her mother lived with her and I stayed with her any time my friend needed a break. I cooked, took her to bathroom dispensed meds, kept her company, and whatever was needed each day. It filled my heart with much gratitude to have been a part of her life.
