I'm in my 3rd semester of nursing and I also work full-time at a hospital as a nurse extern, which is like a patient care technician with a few extra qualifications. I'm also BLS certified. I love helping people and providing a safe and compassionate atmosphere. At the hospital I work at, I work mostly with elderly patients on the rehab floor. I work with stroke patients, dementia patients, fall risk patients, and orthopedic patients. Safety is my number one priority, next to empathy and compassion. I also float to other floors and have a lot of experience with critical care nursing. I truly have a passion for helping others, it gives me so much fulfillment.
