I am looking for an opportunity to serve and care for seniors as my children are heading off to college. For the past year, I was a caregiver to a wonderful lady who suffered dementia. I scheduled and drove her to all medical appointments, took her grocery shopping, ran errands, did very light housekeeping, played games, read her books, prepped meals, etc. As a caregiver, I seek to help people who are no longer as independent as they would like, while making them feel special and loved. I am very patient, and I sincerely have a huge soft spot for all the older lonely people.
