Hello! My name is Eritrea (like the country in northeast Africa). I started caring for and working with various families through Care. com in 2015 and had to step away in 2019. Now that my son has stared preschool, I have the availability to get back into caregiving for others. My experience ranges from caring for newborns, infants, toddlers and school-aged children. I was fortunate enough to work as a nanny from September 2016-July 2018 for two kiddos in Washington, D. C. I can truly say that was the highlight of my career as a caregiver. To be entrusted with the upbringing of children at such a critical time of development (newborn-4 years of age) isn't to be taken lightly and it certainly wasn't by me.
