Hi families! My name is Erin and I currently have 16 months of center-based childcare experience, specifically working with infants from 4-16 months old as an assistant teacher. I began working in childcare in 2023 and developed a love for caregiving and nurturing infants! Before making the switch to childcare, I worked in long term rehab centers and nursing homes as a nursing assistant caring for disabled and elderly people. My responsibilities as an assistant teacher mainly consisted of routine management, changing & feeding every 2 hours, record keeping, sleep training, educational play, etc. My favorite part about caregiving is modeling healthy emotional regulation & emotional intelligence, as well as building secure attachments to ensure a healthy nervous system in children. Emotional health & happiness is the core of my philosophy as a caregiver!
