About Erika

I am a reliable, patient and friendly nanny with 8 years experience working with children in a variety of settings. I have experience working with infants to elementary school children. I have also worked as a behavior therapist (RBT) for children with special needs and developmental delays. I am passionate about teaching social communication skills and creating a learning environment based on where the child is developmentally. As a nanny, I engage children in (and highly encourage) reading, art, music, cooking, healthy eating, imaginative play, movement, language (English & Spanish), gardening, outdoor time and nature walks. I enjoy implementing learning in play and working on milestones while also having fun. I am also open to driving children to the public library, botanical garden, wildflower center, and extracurricular activities upon request and approval from parents.
