Hi, my name is Erika and I am an energetic, patient and kind graduate student. I am currently enrolled in the Master's Occupational Therapy program at Kean University. I was previously an elementary school teacher and have 6 years of experience working in the NJ public schools system. I have over 10 years of experience with educating and providing child care services to families with children of diverse abilities and needs. While completing my master's degree, I have done my fieldwork for my OT program at one of NJ's Top Brain Trauma Unit, a Community Clinic that provides free services to underserved communities, and at a pediatric Hippotherapy therapy facility. My experiences are varied and I would love to learn more about you and your family. My family has been so fortunate to have Erika as a caregiver for my two children. Erika is nothing but amazing with children as she is always finding creative ways to keep them entertained in a safe and effective way! She often takes my children to the playground and does fun crafts with them, which they absolutely love. What brought my attention to Erika is how she is currently an occupational therapy student and has prior experience caring for children of different ages. Not only is Erika great with children, but she is responsible and able to remain calm in challenging and stressful situations. My family has truly been blessed to have Erika in our lives and I am forever thankful for her!
