About Eric

I started tutoring algebra and physics in high school and added chemistry as a college student. I am very comfortable tutoring middle/high school students as well as college students. I would be happy to help students with homework or to just provide project-based enrichment for students who crave more than what their classes offer. I received my Ph. D. in Chemical Physics from Harvard University and have decades of research experience. I have always thrived on mentoring young students in the lab and would love to share my real-world experience and excitement about science with students. I am currently a lecturer at the California State University at Los Angeles where I teach for the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry and for the Masters in Materials Science program. There I have taught Introductory Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Writing for Chemists, and Materials Chemistry and Physics.
