About Erica

As a creative, hard-working, caring, flexible, and energetic nanny, I have a wealth of experience working with children of all ages. Additionally, I have multiple years of experience working with special needs children, including those with autism, Down syndrome, ADHD/ADD, behavioral disorders, hearing impairments, visual impairments, and disabilities that cause seizures. I worked as a paraprofessional for elementary and middle school-aged children with a range of special needs and behavioral needs, and have managed for families with children ages newborn to 13 years old. I am currently working part-time for a youth home for children with autism, In addition to my hands-on experience, I am currently working towards a degree in psychology and education. I also enjoy playing soccer and have previous experience as a lifeguard teaching swim lessons. Importantly, I am CPR-certified, first aid-certified, Safety Care trained, and child and care certified.
