About Emma

Hi there! My name's Emma, and I am so excited to work with you! A little about me: I'm an aspiring author, a cat lover (but dogs are great too!), and a weirdly ethusiastic organizer with a passion for people and the language that connects them. I have a BA in Linguistics and another in French, but I'm still young and have a lot to learn. I'm a firm believer that learning is a lifelong journey that should never end. Afterall, the more you know, the more you know how little you know. That's why I've enjoyed tutoring students ranging in age from elementary school to adulthood. Each student has their own unique perspective and different learning style. I strive to find the best way for my students to learn and tailor my instruction to fit their needs. Subjects I teach include English (grammar, pronunciation, reading, spelling, comprehension, writing, etc.), Math (arithmetic, algebra, problem solving skills), and Language (French, ESL).
