About Emily

I'd describe my personality as patient, understanding and nourishing. I like working with kids because they are so free and curious. I love that they are always asking questions and exploring the world around them. Being able to support them and provide them a safe environment to learn who they are brings me great joy. I'm looking for a job with a kind, respectful environment and values good communication. I started working with kids as a teen, babysitting the kids next door. I have been a nanny before and have 10+ years of experience working kids summer camps as a camp counselor and activities director. In my spare time I like to read, cook/bake, be outdoors and family. One thing you should know about me is that I truly believe any problem can be solved. I believe things happen for us not to us, and that there are lessons to learn in every aspect of life. My skills include helping kids with emotional regulation, allowing them to explore who they are and having fun.
