About Emily

I have been passionate about childcare since a very young age (my American Girl dolls had a very rigorous school program). I began babysitting part-time for a local family in 2008 and stayed with them for 5 years. I have been a public school educator since 2017 when I graduated with my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I am currently pursuing a Master's degree. Safety is a top priority of mine. I am CPR/AED and basic first-aid certified. I have experience with children ranging from ages newborn to pre-teen. My care experience includes children with varying physical and mental needs and abilities such as vision impairment, severe allergies, seizure disorders, autism, anxiety, depression, ODD, ADD/ADHD, and children who require feeding tubes. I pride myself on being an advocate for children of all ages. I believe children deserve kindness and patience under every circumstance. I love providing children with a safe space to learn, grow, and enjoy the world around them.
