About Emily

Hello! My name is Emily and I recently graduated from Grand Rapids Community College with a certification for Occupational Therapy Assistant and Associates of Applied Arts and Sciences. My experience has been scattered throughout the years. I was a babysitter throughout my high school career but my true experience has come from my level II fieldwork placement at Ionia ISD. I was able to learn from a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant as well as Occupational Therapists. We worked primarily with students in the ECSE and ASD classrooms as well as student with cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, angel man's syndrome and many more. I am looking to continue my experience and work while I am studying to take my BOARD exam for licensure. My dream is to work in the school setting as a COTA and I would love to work with your child and provide care to the best of my abilities!
