About Emily

Hi! I'm Emily, a senior dietetics student at The University of Rhode Island. I'm passionate about helping children learn, whether it's through teaching, outdoor play, or creative arts and crafts. I'm always happy to go on walks, head to the pool, or just spend quality time doing engaging, age-appropriate activities. I started working with kids when I was in eighth grade babysitting. In high school, I volunteered with Kinetic Kids, where I taught various kids with certain mental and physical disabilities to play basketball, use musical instruments, and ride a bike. One thing you should know about me is I am on the path to become a Registered Dietitian (RD) and I am a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT), so if healthy eating and an active lifestyle is something you want to implement and maintain with your kids, I'd be more than happy to assist.
