About Emily

I've been involved in the pet care industry for about 10 years. Since I was a kid, I've always had a strong passion for and connection to animals. My first opportunity working with animals was at the Godot Animal Sanctuary in March of 2015. I fed and watered approximately 50 dogs who lived in outside enclosures on the property, as well as cleaning up after them and medicating them as needed. At times, I also assisted in the care of the indoor cats on the property. Shortly after leaving Godot, I landed a job at Pawsitive Image Pet Resort in August of 2015, where I've been ever since. I started out as a kennel attendant, responsible not only for feeding and general care of the animals at the facility, but also supervising play groups, monitoring behaviors, and in-depth cleaning to ensure a sanitary environment. I've since been promoted to assistant manager and now also deal a lot with customer service and overseeing daily operations to ensure the best experience for all pets in our care.
