Greetings, My name is Emily and a graduate of the Anake Outdoor School Program with Wilderness Awareness School, located in Duvall. I am looking to find a family that I can grow and stay with long-term! I am available Tuesday-Thurs starting and ending times are very flexible and I can work with what your needs are. I love the outdoors and bringing my teachings of the natural world and nature connection into the lives of the kids that I watch. Bringing a love to be in the outdoors, and a deeper connection to this land! I can help with homework, Cooking, cleaning, errands, you name it! I'm patient, reliable, fun-loving, pet friendly and punctual! I have been working with children of all ages (Range: Newborn-14) for over 8 years now. Working with children is one of my biggest passions. It give me the opportunity to teach but it also gives me a major opportunity to learn, to slow down, to reconnect, and to just be. As a late night babysitter, we didn't require much so Emily fit our needs in November 2021. The care.com background check gave us the comfort of hiring someone for child care while on vacation. I offered to pay for Emily's parking at our hotel ($30-40/ night, depending on garage). She sent me a parking bill for $150 days starting 5 days prior to her work with us. I played nice and paid her hours and $30 for parking that day because we had her booked for 2 days with the 2nd night being a wedding. We came home after the 2nd night out and agreed on hours. I ended up forgetting to hit the final payment button. Emily texted me the next morning to confirm her hours and reasonable parking charge but then threatened to take me to court via text 10 minutes later if I didn't pay her for night 2. I paid her immediately and received no further communication or apology for her aggressiveness. EXCEPT for her recent request for me to review her....
