About Emily

Hi parents! My name is Emily and I am a speech language pathologist. I have extensive knowledge of child development in play, cognition, feeding, speech, and language. My bachelor degree is in Special and Elementary Education. I have been babysitting/nannying for the last 12 years and have worked with children as young as preemies in the NICU to as old as 17. I also have taught swimming lessons for the last 15 years to children of various ages and abilities. I am very experienced with children on the autism spectrum and many other cognitive/physical impairments. I love reading books with children (it's the speech therapist in me!) as well as playing different games and doing crafts. Pools or beaches are no problem as I am a swimmer myself and teach swimming lessons. I'm looking for a summer position. I look forward to seeing if I may be a match for your family!
