About Emily

Hi, my name is Emily, and I am currently a junior at Washington State University majoring in Early childhood education. My previous experience involves me taking care of my younger brother after school until my parents came home from work. I am the second child out of three in my family, I have an older sister but she wasn't able to help me with my brother after school because she had work right after school. It was my job to pick my brother up from school every day and walk him back home. When we got home, I made him a snack and helped him with his homework while I did mine. Sometimes, my parents would have to stay at work longer than expected, so I had to prepare dinner for not just my brother and me but for the rest of the family. In high school, I took a class that allowed me to go to the elementary school and help out all different age groups of kids with their school work.
