About Ellise

I have 9 years of experience through student teaching, babysitting, nannying, tutor, and being a para/peer tutor. I can help with cooking, carpooling, light housework, grocery shopping and schoolwork. I am in my final class before I have my Unified Early Childhood Bachelor's Degree and am beginning my coursework to become a nurse. I am from Kansas City and living in Houston for the summer. I would love to meet new families and help out in anyway I can while in Kingwood this summer. With my almost 10 years of experience and teaching in a classroom for 4 semesters I am very confident in my ability to be responsible, build positive relationships with children, create a safe and fun environment, and to ensure that the children I help with are comfortable, heard, and watched after in the most positive way possible. I love using the materials I have learned in my education and implementing it into the real world.
